On July 28, the second regular meeting between leaders of Fujian Province and Quảng Ninh Province, Vietnam was held in Fuzhou. Zhao Zenglian, Vice Governor of Fujian Province, and Nguyen Hong Duong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council of Quảng Ninh, attended the meeting.

Both sides reviewed the progress of exchanges and cooperation achieved since the inaugural meeting and reached a series of common understandings on furthering exchanges and deepening practical cooperation in areas including economy and trade, culture and tourism, sports, youth, science and education, and digital economy. Counterpart departments and enterprises from both provinces signed cooperation documents. During the event, representatives from the Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce, the Department of Industry and Trade of Quảng Ninh Province, and participating enterprises delivered promotional presentations.
