On October 30, Governor Zhao Long met in Fuzhou with a delegation led by Erkinjon Turdimov, Governor of Syrdarya Region of Uzbekistan.

Zhao highlighted the growing economic and trade ties and people-to-people exchanges between Fujian and Uzbekistan in recent years. He expressed Fujian’s readiness to work with Syrdarya Region to implement the important consensus reached by the presidents of the two countries, expand cooperation in areas such as distinctive industries, industrial parks, infrastructure, and cultural and people-to-people links, so as to jointly write a new chapter of win-win development.

Turdimov commended Fujian’s development achievements in recent years. He welcomed more Fujian enterprises to invest and develop in Syrdarya Region and looked forward to further deepening exchanges and cooperation with Fujian in agricultural products, food processing, and industrial manufacturing.
