On November 26, Zhou Zuyi, Secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial People's Congress, met with Governor Ahmad Luthfi of Indonesia's Central Java Province in Fuzhou.

Zhou highlighted that Fujian, the core area of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, enjoys deep historical connections and close cooperation with Indonesia and Central Java. He noted Fujian's ongoing efforts to advance high-level opening-up and high-quality development, and encouraged stronger cooperation between the two provinces in trade, education, culture, tourism, and sister city ties.

Luthfi underlined Central Java's long-standing friendship with Fujian and expressed keen interest in bolstering collaboration in trade, investment, infrastructure, and new energy for win-win development.

Wang Yongli, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Executive Vice Governor of Fujian Province, was present at the meeting.
