Zhou Zuyi Meets with Cambodian People's Party Delegation

On October 29, Zhou Zuyi, Secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial People’s Congress, met in Fuzhou with a delegation from the Cambodian People’s Party, led by Suos Yara, First Vice Chairman of the External Relations Commission of the Cambodian People’s Party and Chairman of the National Assembly Commission on Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, Media and Information.

 

Noting the profound historical ties and broad prospects for cooperation between Fujian and Cambodia, Zhou called on both sides to act on the important common understandings reached by the leaders of the two countries, and elevate exchanges and cooperation between Fujian and Cambodia to a new level, so as to deepen the traditional friendship and enhance the well-being of the two peoples.

 

Suos Yara said that Cambodia highly values its iron-clad friendship with China. He looked forward to closer interactions between sister cities and party schools of the two sides, as well as further cooperation in personnel training, digital technologies, energy, tourism, and culture.

 

Sak Setha, Senior Minister and Permanent Vice-President of the National Committee for Sub-National Democratic Development, Wu Xielin, Member of the Standing Committee and Deputy Secretary General of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, and Wang Jinfu, Vice Governor of Fujian Province, attended the meeting.
