The National Agricultural Products Production and Marketing Conference (Southern Region) will be held from Sept 17 to 20 in Guiyang, Guizhou province, with more than 20 companies from Fujian province set to participate and showcase the province's agricultural products and development.

Hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, this year's conference is themed "Collaborating between the agricultural and commercial sectors to support rural vitalization". It will feature exhibitions and sales, themed promotions, supply-and-demand negotiations, and e-commerce activities, providing channels for agricultural producers to connect with wholesale markets, retail chains, e-commerce platforms, and supply-chain companies.

The Fujian delegation will showcase various products including tea, edible fungi, aquatic products, and specialty processed foods. Specific products include Wuyi rock tea, Gutian county's white fungus, and Ningde's large yellow croaker.

During the conference, the Fujian delegation will make use of the event to engage with buyers, distributors, e-commerce platforms, and industry organizations, seeking cooperation on product procurement, channel expansion, and brand promotion.

Through product displays, tastings, and supply-and-demand talks, the delegation will introduce Fujian's high-quality agricultural products to more market players while helping participating companies gain a better understanding of consumer trends and market demand.
