A media delegation of over 40 international and domestic journalists and influencers visited Ningde, Fujian province, from March 7 to 9 to examine the region's transition from a rural landscape to a hub of green development and high-tech industry.
The "Perceiving Happiness: Tour of China's Fujian" tour traveled through Zhouning county, Shouning county, and Jiaocheng district to document the socioeconomic progress driven by China's rural vitalization and modernization strategies.
In Jiaocheng district, the group visited the headquarters of Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL). As a global leader in new energy, CATL demonstrated its latest research in power battery technology and its expanding international applications, highlighting Ningde's role in the global energy transition.

The itinerary also focused on sustainable ecological practices and cultural preservation within the counties. In Zhouning county, the delegation visited Huang Zhenfang's family forest farm to learn about its green transformation, tracing its evolution from a single family's initiative into a county-wide ecological model. They also explored the 800-year-old Carp Stream in Puyuan town, where a unique tradition of harmony between residents and fish has persisted for centuries.
In Shouning's Xiadang village, the group toured new local business models and historical landmarks, including Luanfeng Bridge, a symbol of regional poverty alleviation efforts.
