In the hit TV series Silent Glory, heroes such as Wu Shi, Zhu Feng, Chen Baocang, and Nie Xi risked their lives on the hidden frontlines, embodying unwavering dedication as they gathered intelligence to support the nation's reunification efforts during a volatile moment in history.
Beyond its gripping narrative, the series corporates numerous intangible cultural heritage elements from Fuzhou, reflecting the city's distinctive culture.
A prominent feature is Tianhuang stone, a premium variety of Shoushan stone, a nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage. Formed over hundreds of millions of years, Tianhuang stone's origin is limited to an area of less than one square kilometer.
In the series, Tianhuang stone serves as a key medium for intelligence transmission. To the people of Fuzhou, it is a cultural symbol; for Wu Shi and Chen Baocang, it represents a tacit emblem of trust before life-and-death missions.

Fuzhou's rich culinary heritage is also highlighted in the series.
In one scene, Zhu Feng enjoys a traditional Fuzhou soup made with sea clams in chicken broth, alongside other regional specialties such as rouyan (meat wontons) and fish balls.

The preparation techniques for these dishes are listed as Fujian provincial intangible cultural heritage. These cuisines, celebrated for their delicate flavors and traditional significance, enrich the series' narrative by connecting views not only to the suspense of espionage but also to Fuzhou's centuries-old cultural legacy.
Silent Glory transforms traditional culture into a bridge between history and contemporary storytelling, offering audiences a layered experience that celebrates both human courage and cultural depth.
